We have combined pressure relief with manual handling to create this unique system - Hi-Visc + Turn.aido. It is a Hi-Visc replacement mattress with build in, always ready Turn.aido rotational system.
Hi-Visc + Turn.aido is a visco-elastic replacement mattress which combines high level of comfort and pressure re-distribution with built in Turn.aido Rotational Aid which minimises patient lifting and nurse back-strain.
Hi-Visc pressure care mattress is made from an energy-absorbing, temperature sensitive material that responds to heat and moulds itself uniformly around the patient. Visco-elastic work by conforming to the contours of the body shape reducing pressure to an absolute minimum. This allows patients to benefit from the maximum support and pressure protection possible during sleep or lengthy stays in bed, without the pressure or discomfort that is often associated with bed care.
