The BodyFoam pressure-reducing cushion consists of cross section modular cuts on top for better patient comfort.
The BodyFoam Range was originally developed in 1992, and since enhanced in the light of improvements in materials available.
Key features at a glance
- The modular cut foam ensures that membrane tension on the upper surface of the foam is broken: cuts in the foam ensure independent pressure response to the weight directly above it rather than to the average weight in the area.
- Supplied with 2-way stretch, waterproof and vapour-permeable wipe down cover.
- Zip opening is set inboard and underneath of the cover, which ensures the cushion being used the correct way up.
- Cover minimises the risk of contamination: underneath zips avoid long upper side seams which risk ingress of fluids; fluids will not rise upwards.
- Varied dimensions available on request.
- "Any Way Up" two sided visco-elastic version is available on request.
