Hi-Visc Bariatric
The heavy-duty Hi-Visc Bariatric pressure-reducing cushion is designed specially for bariatric patients. It consists of a mixture of visco-elastic memory temperature sensitive foam and high resilient orthodox foam for a high level of comfort and pressure re-distribution.
Key features at a glance
- Adapts to the body’s shape to give excellent pressure re-distribution.
- Minimises friction and shear.
- Re-adjusts to any positional change of the body and re-moulds within just 10 seconds.
- Zip opening is set inboard and underneath of the cover, which ensures the cushion is used the correct way up. It minimises the risk of contamination: underneath zips avoid long upper side seams which risk ingress of fluids; fluids will not rise upwards.
- Varied sizes available.
- It provides excellent pressure re-distribution moulding to the shape of the body and spreading the weight over a wide surface area.
- It allows the body to breath: A two-way stretch waterproof and vapour-permeable cover is used.
