Our shop in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire provides wheelchair, scooters and a complete range of aids for daily living to the private sector.
We have a range of beds suitable for hospital, nursing or home use. Our Protean bed is the only fully profiling floor level bed in the world and eliminates practically all bed falls and accidents, which happen to people who are at risk of falling out of bed. The rehabilitation chair and the patient transfer system are revolutionising healthcare by providing easy, safe and comfortable transfer methods with minimum risk to patient and caregiver. By using this system one can achieve large savings in staff time and costs.

The First Technicare Division based in North London manufactures products of the highest quality across the whole spectrum of pressure ulcer risk levels to suit every customers needs, ranging from our range of alternating air mattresses: Therawave, Galaxy, Turn.aido and Tri-pos which suit every budget level, through our static products: Community Vitality, Hi-Visc, BodyFoam, Bariatric, First Lamb and Omnipad nursing fleeces, Heel and Elbow protectors to our pressure reducing Gem Stone range of wheelchair cushions. We are on the NHS Supply Chain’s list of preferred suppliers for Pressure Area care products.
The revolutionary Turn.aido concept has consolidated the requirements of clinicians, care givers and the cared for alike. It is a vital manual handling tool as well as a nursing aid. The ‘Turn.aido’ is not only available incorporated into some of our dynamic mattresses but also in static replacement mattresses and as a replacement cover for use on a variety of existing alternating air and foam mattresses or overlays.
